I started Northpaq because I kept seeing the same problem: mid-sized companies knew they needed AI, but they didn't have the in-house leadership to make it happen. They'd hire a dev shop, get a one-off project, and then have no idea what to do next.
I wanted to build something different — an AI partner that stays embedded in your business, sets the strategy, deploys the solutions, and trains your people so you're never dependent on us. Think of us as your AI department, not your vendor.
Before Northpaq, I spent years building AI systems across healthcare, finance, and enterprise technology. That cross-industry experience is what lets us move fast and adapt to whatever regulatory or operational challenges your business faces.
Why I Started Northpaq
The companies that need AI the most — businesses growing fast but stretched thin — are the ones least likely to have a CTO or AI leader. They're big enough to invest in AI, but too lean for a full-time executive hire. Northpaq exists to fill that gap. We bring the strategy, the execution, and the education — on a monthly retainer that costs a fraction of a full-time CAIO.
Beyond the Office
When I'm not helping clients deploy AI, you'll find me hiking Pacific Northwest trails, tinkering with home automation projects, or trying (and mostly failing) to cook something from scratch. I'm a firm believer that the best business relationships start with genuine connection — so if we end up working together, expect conversations about more than just algorithms.
